WOW. A real LACS. I can't imagine what that must have cost. But it was worth it smile.gif Beautiful axe. As they say, "Some day" smile.gif

I can see why you might only play it now and then. Sort of like owning a ferrari and not wanting to put too many miles on it. I bet it playes like a dream smile.gif

I'm almost embarrassed to admit it, but I own an LA Custom Shop Ibanez. It's sort of an early prototype of what became the RGA, with a nicely carved top. It has a piezo pickup in the bridge and the neck is a bit flatter than the normal 430mm radius Ibanez uses. It plays and sounds like a dream. I have to be careful not to get used to it since it will spoil me for other guitars, so I only pull it out on special occasions.

I probably wouldn't be able to afford to buy a guitar like this, but a friend who used to be an Ibanez artist generously gave it to me as a gift.

My challenge these days is to become a good enough guitarist to deserve these wonderful guitars I have smile.gif.

You and Rich some serious Ibby's. I've got a couple of Golden Era, but I gotta say I'd love to shot at something like a prestige or God forbid and LACS. Probably sell my kidneys for it.
