It goes well with a Tuesday morning cup of coffee too. Very nice, Ken. Thanks! And man that is one fat bodied guitar you got there.
What is it?

That is a 1968 'Ventura'. It's Japanese. Pretty much a ripoff of an L5. Great guitar. Reasonably priced. And yes, it is a huge (yuge! wink.gif ) guitar. 17.5"
Here's a better pic ...

It looks pretty nice, sounds nice too. I should add that my better half Stacie knows this tune and hummed along the whole time I played it for her. She has performed with a Jazz trio (Stand up bass, piano and guitar ) while she was living on Kauai performing at hotels, resorts, conventions and the like. The piece made her a bit sad though because it reminded her of her mother who is not with us any more, so a big thumbs up from her as well.
Thanks again, Ken.

Hey! You wouldn't happen to know a Jazz bassist and singer by the name of Gary Sprewell would you? He was the bass player in the trio that Stacie accompanied who now lives and works in LA. I know it's a big city , but you never know!

I do not. But as you mention it's a big place with a ton of musicians.

Yeah I figured it was a long shot, but it was worth it to ask just the same.
