yeah... sorry gab. I seem to be devoid of inspiration recently. Nothing I play sounds good at the moment mellow.gif
Hopefully I'll join in for the next one.

Have you lost your mojo lately mate? You've kept a low profile lately. Your playing is just dandy. Come on get a last minute take in wink.gif

yeah, this entire month has just passed me by, not sure where my head has been! huh.gif
I'll chill over the weekend, regroup and press on. Probably time to change things up a bit practice wise.

I find joining these collabs and workshops help me along when the normal practise becomes a bit of a grind. Gets the juices flowing.
Have a go at the connecting melodies one, 2 to 4 bars, just enough to keep it interesting when you're low on inspiration. I've put three takes in.
Keep going buddy. smile.gif

I like it. That mix is pretty cool. I think it all works well. The opening and continuance into the vocals is cool. The layering of parts melts together. And the almost acapella ending is spot on.

Only two suggestions.

1. Cut my first part after 1.34
2. Maybe play with backing a little at the end and decrease it's volume.

Otherwise I thinks its really cool.

Hi

It's great mix.
The GeneT95's guitar part is very tasteful
The voice is very good

The parts of bleez and phill could be slightly increased, no ?

Really interesting feedback guys! Thanks a lot. I'll definitely try this.

Gene, about this:

"Maybe play with backing a little at the end and decrease it's volume."

Do you refer to the section where Cael sings only over strings?

Yeah, with a brief listen, I thought the stings could be lower, but I'm note sure. I thought the Multi-Cael pedal sounded cool.

Thanks everybody for the feedback. I could fix everything except that there isn't a Bleez take for this one. (MisterM said to turn it up)

The video is on the way!

Sounds amazing blink.gif what a collab!! blink.gif blink.gif

Cael you totally blew me away with your vocal performance - will we be hearing more clean singing from you?

Both voices worked very well together!

Overall it seemed all performances were totally focused on creating a killer song, which you certainly did. Well done!

I love how this one sounds. It's a really nice song. All the guitar submits are just perfect, and Cael's work is impressive. His singing as well as the melodies that he created are so beautiful. He keeps on impressing us with his talent.
