it's been so long since I have recorded , I actually had to re learn some stuff , but , I plan to do more , just letting some others ( of course not gonna mention rich, jones , or ken names as to not make them feel pressured wink.gif )get in their bits

I am one step closer to being setup to record again. I finally picked up an interface and some JBL monitors. Now I just need to find the time to re-arrange my desk and get everything all hooked up. It's a bigger project than it sounds like lol. I will probably have to relearn some things myself since it has been quite a while since I have worked with a DAW.

Cool! Which ones did you get? If you grabbed the LSR305, I can personally vouch for them. They punch above their weight and are some of the best near field monitors I've ever owned. I even prefer them to my KRK which I never thought would happen.

If you got the LSR308 then you are in ever better shape. I've not owned them, but I"ve heard them and they RAWK.

Which JBL did you get? As long as they are LSR series and not CONTROL ONE (which are a bit crap IMHO) you are set smile.gif

I almost got the 308's but settled for the 305's. smile.gif And I just got done setting them up with a Roland Quad Capture for an interface. Now I just need to go get Reaper again and see if I can remember how to set it up! laugh.gif
I love JBL speakers. I actually have a pair of C-40 Harkness cabs that I need to refinish. But that is for a different thread.

Nice job Phil! Thanks for a new idea! I like how this is turning.

Remember that we can participate many times on this one, we just need to have another player after us, and then we are ready for a new idea.

Who is next?

Sorry gentlemen.

It is now done. I got up at 5am today, my mind woke me telling me I hadn't made them downloadable and I must have just changed one because the guitar only was set to download.

I am a duffer rolleyes.gif

No worries mate

To make you files smaller render them to MP3 instead of WAV wink.gif

Cheers

Very nice! Thanks mate! You have to export your mix as MP3 (320 kbits if possible) instead of wav. If your daw doesn't allow it you can use a Wav to Mp3 converter:

https://www.onlinevideoconverter.com/es/convert-wav-to-mp3
