Ola walks us through all the stock presets. Just about a minute or so in, he hits one that reminds me of why I bought my 11 to begin with. Metallic Chunkyness. smile.gif The bit change is the dual path signal. I can't use two delays or two amps/cabs in my 11. The head rush can. It's more like Th2 with the dual signal path thing that you can use one for clean one for dirty, or both dirty, different fx on each, two delays/chorus etc. So it's like two 11 racks stuffed in one pedal board. The scribble strips are very spiff, as is the touch display. I really hope I start seeing these on the used market so I can grab one smile.gif

It sounds very mid rangey to me. What I call very "1k" from the days when I was a kid and I had a graphic equaliser on my Tandy (Realistic) record player, if I turned up the 1k slider it sounded like that.

I guess he's not recording it through the best system?

Looks sweet though.

Olas vid sounds very "mid" heavy. I think he is using his usual randall mini on clean to his isolation cab with a 57. Which sounds a lot like a V30 going in to a 57 no matter what is in front of it. Folks often complain that all of his vids sound the same. There is some truth to this as it's always him playing, always through the v30 iso cab in to a sm57. Sometimes he will use a different cab. He recently got a DAVE LABOGA (the current djent cab of the moment) but from what I've heard those are nice and deep.

It does give a good idea on the fx and such but yeah I do hope it doesn't actually sound like that. It's too nasal for my tastes. My old 11 rack sounds better and I usually record direct.

The pete thorn version was a bit better.

My 11 patches certainly sound deeper/meaner, but then again I do cheat and use the bass cab smile.gif
