I will try my best to get something done. As I said, the sound coming out of the cabinet is not remotely close to the sound I hear when I've mic'ed up the cab and listen to it afterwards. I don't know what's causing that.

Not really a showcase of versitality, but just me playing through some riffs, a bit of clean stuff and finally some soloing.

That clean and lead tone is amazing, Cael! Just what I am not digging so much is the riffing. Its kinda deep, but that is up to taste. Overall your amp seems to be a good decision wink.gif

Yeah, the riffing was based around an open string in drop A on a 7 string, so it was a bit deep. I was trying to find some clarity even that deep and not have it too muddy.

Great to see you teaching yourself how to mic a guitar cab!! It's an art that is not that well known anymore but IMHO is very important to know how to do. Nobody will know where you like your mic on your cab better than you!!
