Currently what I've got. I don't know if it's usable, Gabriel. Let me know. I can work some more on it if needed:

https://soundcloud.com/benjamin-storm-linnebjerg/test

EDIT: Can't get the link to work.

I'm still unsure if there will be problems with the lyrics as they are almost lifted from the original songs:

666 was the number of the beast (Maiden)
Cause we didn't mind disturbing the priest (Sabbath)
The hellfire spawned and released (Maiden)
It welcomes you to our feast (Sabbath)

It's in your eyes, one look and then you die (Motorhead)
You're getting ready to fight for your life (Maiden)
Tons of thunder lights up the sky (Saxon)
You live for the flight, fly to live aces high (Maiden)

You're the seventh son of the seventh son (maiden)
I'll be coming for you so you better run (sabbath)
It's Written in stone and it shall done (maiden)
Till you disappear like stars in the sun (sabbath)

Now the judgement day is coming around (Maiden)
Prepare yourself, just stand your ground (maiden)
A strand of silver run through the sky (Deep Purple)
A blinding light flashing colours through the night (Judas Priest)

If you like a gamble, I will be your man
You might win, you might lose, show your hand
There's pleasure in play, no matter what you say
You've got the greed, but there's just one card I need
Ace of Spades (Motorhead)

You're the seventh son of the seventh son (maiden)
I'll be coming for you so you better run (sabbath)
It's Written in stone and it shall done (maiden)
Till you disappear like stars in the sun (sabbath)

SPIFF!! Digging the vocals smile.gif What do you guys think about maybe having the Vocals Doubled or doubled during bits for emphasis, or gang vocals for background bits, etc? I could be making it way more complex than it needs to be smile.gif

Hi Cael! That sounds great to me! I don't think that you need to work it more, it's perfect! Some backing vocals could be great, so if we have any GMCer that want to add it, go for it, if not I'll do it.

Thanks a lot for your great work!!!

Let me know if the video is okay, Gabriel. There are some mistakes in there, but hopefully not too bad:

And here are vocal only takes:

Attached File  Heavy_collab_vocals_only.mp3 ( 5.63MB ) Number of downloads: 6

Please also be reminded that I had to overlap some parts by a few miliseconds to get good transitions between parts, so you might have to cut/copy/paste and move around a bit in your file to make it work better, if that makes sense. Something like the last double chorus in my edition was overlapped ever so slightly by maybe 5-10 ms to make the repeat of the chorus, but it means that you might need to move some things slightly. Let me know if that makes sense? smile.gif

Oh, and here's a no-reverb-no-delay version smile.gif

Attached File  Heavy_collab_vocals_no_reverb_or_delay.mp3 ( 5.63MB ) Number of downloads: 6

Hah, noticed some background noise in there in the no backing versions.

KILLER backing track smile.gif I'm hoping you won't mind if I use it for future teaching vids? Makes a great solo track!

I mixed Zakk Wylde and Paul Gilbert licks together in this to go from blues rock licks to shred licks. That thing at 20 seconds is based on a lick I did for the WINTER collab way back when smile.gif Going to use it as a QUICK LICKS lesson!

Here is the previous collab I'm talking about with the lick at the start. The one below is based on a Triad where the one in the Brit Collab/Quick Licks is based on a Diad

Darius is who created this backing! I think that he will be proud of finding it in your vids.

Hi Gab, I was looking for something in my Garage and found a load of old Tour T Shirts from shows I went to. There were a couple from the mid 80's that I will wear and re-shoot my Vids!! Will have them all done tonight and upload everything tomorrow!!
