These two play a lot of trad bebop (overdriven) but they generally do it over more modern chord changes and grooves.
At 1:40 it's straight up parker, dizzy and trane ...

Great video! Mike Stern is among my favorites in this style. I love his combination of jazz, with blues, rock and funk. Great balance to my taste.

Bill Evans, what a name for a Jazz musician! I didn't know the saxophonist one. ohmy.gif

He played with Miles Davis all through the 80s and into the 90s.
