I've been playing guitar since I was 16 years old. I first started playing System of a Down and Metallica, then I wanted to learn chords and started moving around on my own. Then went back to Metallica and noticed that my covers sounded way better. I was also listening to Joe Satriani, so that kind of influenced my lead guitar playing. My favorite guitarists include: Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Vinnie Moore, Marty Friedman and so many others. I do have a lot of guitar goals, covering songs or making sure that a solo sounds ok.

5 years from now I would imagine myself just a being a better guitar player all the way around. I like to play guitar for at least 2-5 hours everyday. I did play in a hardcore band back in 2011-2012. My strong points on guitar would be having an ok sense for melody. My weak points I would probably have to say would be expert chord changing. I really like C major scale and how you can raise it to other degrees!

Yes, I can record myself and can't wait to share!

Hi mate! I've found your video HERE.

Do you think that it's possible to use Youtube and insert your videos at this thread? That would do our work here smoother. You can set the vids as Unlisted if you don't want to people find them at Youtube. Let me know if you need help with it.

That's a good video man. Your playing is very tight along the whole lesson. There are not any unwanted noises, and the chord changes are precise and smooth. I also think that your palm muting technique is perfect for the style, you put your palm at the right place. Congrats!

I'm not convinced about the way you hold the pick. It doesn't show problems at this point with rhythm but I think that it can bring issues if you want to play fast licks in the style of the guitarists that you've listed as influences. The problem is related to the fact that you are not holding the pick more with the tip of your thumb and that decreases precision.

Is it possible to see you playing this lesson or any other similar?
