I realised a while ago I prefer Hard Rock to Metal (it's a subjective distinction, I know) so who are your favourite hard rock bands and hard rock songs?

The reason I have a James Tyler guitar is Dann Huff

Using this version due to the dress and boots

All time favourite hard rock... Alice Cooper. If I had to pick 1 of his / their albums, it would be 'Killer'. I think that is just a great hard rock album. Although there are a bunch of great ones in their back catalogue.

Halo of flies from the Killer album is amazing.

I realised a while ago I prefer Hard Rock to Metal

I forgot to mention I have always been more partial to Hard Rock rather than Metal as well. Although I like Metal too, Blues based Rock has influenced and inspired me more.

And I also forgot to mention some other favorites such as these and maybe some of them could be called Classic Rock rather then Hard Rock and some may be considered Metal I guess.

Hendrix
Led Zeppelin
Mr Big
The Scorpions
Boston
Journey
Bad Company (Thanks for the reminder Phil wink.gif )
Anthrax
Foo Fighters
Black Sabbath
Candle box
Winger
Warrant
Quiet Riot
And every other band that has been mentioned here so far! cool.gif I am sure I can think of a few others.
