I'd love to see you trying a lead smile.gif We already have the guitar rythm tracks, so not much room for interpretation and creativity there sad.gif

GABE: what's the deadline on this one?

I thought it might fill it out a bit, like the last one. I'll see what I can do, I'm trying to fit too much into me sessions though, I can't even manage to fit the quick licks in rolleyes.gif

Maybe a melody through line that plays against the melody like Iron Maiden often do? Something Lead"ish" but still rythmic? The quick licks thing is supposed to "quick" ideally, so don't over stress! Just jump in and hit record. They don't have to be perfect, it's more about quick turn around and getting comfy diving in to the deep end smile.gif

Thanks Todd, I've just been trying number 2 again and I can only do it at 25% speed. It doesn't seem right to go to number 3 if I haven't mastered number 2. To be honest, I don't think I'd ever play it at the sample speed.

Sorry, we should continue this over in the quick licks section. wink.gif

Oh man, I was jamming this hard tonight. Definitely got some ideas to contribute this time, just need to tighten the playing up a bit.

Gab I've tried and tried to come up with some lead work for this but I just can't. Sorry.

Don't give up phill!! Just think of it as ONE NOTE AT AT TIME. Just start on the root note, and then add one more. Then one more. Doesn't have to be flashy. smile.gif

I tried mate, one note, and then just as I come up with a couple more the track changes.

When I suggested Sabbath I had something more like like their grinding tracks, like Iron Man, Sweet Leaf, etc. That's not a complaint though, just my head was a different place to Gab's wink.gif

Cheers

Ok, thanks Gab,

Here is a very very rough take, having that bit of TAB helped and also, Scott (Bleez) sent me a PM with the single note wah idea, thanks buddy, nice one.

If this sparks any ideas please let me know, I'm going to work on it. I can't do much in the middle section it's a bit tricky for me at the moment. Remember it's a very rough one-shot job.

There is some stuff over the rhythm intro and some more at 00:40.

Thanks
