Hey friends! I have some great news. The luthier who made my custom guitar offered to do a new one!

I think that I'll go for something similar to the soft blue one from this picture with some specific variations regarding wood, neck shape, and bridge. But I'm still thinking.

What do you think? Any suggestions?

Do you know how those special inlays are done? I have no idea. Also, I'm not sure if the symbol fits on frets. Any more info about this would really help.

Maybe, I could use the diamond shape that we have on C letter in our logo.

It shouldn't be a problem to do any design of inlay.
Here's the process, obviously the design can be anything you want!

Awesome Gabriel! Are you going to go with the same body shape as the other, or try something different? Maybe some coil taps would be a nice option as well.

The shape is different to my previous one. It's a bit bigger compared to it. You can see the differences at the beginning of this video. Light blue vs grey one.

At this point the main differences with that light blue one that is not mine (mine is the dark one), are the diamond shape inlays, strat type bridge with tremolo, and maybe 24 frets, since I don't have any 24 frets guitar right now.

I would also like to have a shred friendly fretboard, and smooth access to high frets.

Any more ideas are welcome!!

No worries Gab! I think those 'Cirse' Diamonds would look good as each fret marker with a doubled one at the 12th and 24th (If you go for 24 frets!!). Personally I'd go for a Wilkinson 2 Post Trem and Locking Tuners if you want a vintage looking Trem and a compound radius Fretboard for a 'shreddier' top end!!

Sort of!!! I'll explain!! smile.gif
In the top 4 the actual pieces were all CNC cut initially but the process of cutting and inserting into the wood was all done by hand. As much as I'd like to claim it as my own I can't really. It was a bit of an experiment to see how good a friends Home-made CNC Table Mill could be.
The Boxwood one is ALL hand done though!
