I still having trouble with flash. I wonder when GMC has its website based on common technologies instead of the old school Flash Plugin? Remember that your exceptional good learning material deserves a customer friendly user experience.

Kind Regards,
Robert Schuurmans.

Yes, getting rid of flash has been urgent for many years - and the fact that we have not yet is highly unfortunate.

If you browse the site with a mobile unit, or safari (macos) - you will get served an old html5 player instead. All other (desktop) browsers still get to see the flash player.

I will check if maybe we can get a direct update from our developer to know the current development status. I have been getting indications recently we are closing in.

FWIW, the old html5 player on Safari is not necessarily a good thing. The lessons have been difficult in to use in Safari since that change was made. As I'm sure you know, this means Mac users are in the awkward position of having to choose between two unpleasant options: Flash or the limited html5 player smile.gif.

Agreed - neither is a long term solution.

If you can let us know specifically what problems you experience on safari it would be very helpful.

Any news on this? I've given up on using the lessons at GMC because they load so slowly and the navigation without keyboard controls is too frustrating.

It's been a while since I got an estimation. Part of the problem is that we can no longer afford a full time developer. I will check again if our developer has a timeline he can share with us.
