I'm curious as to how you guys use and view the forum. I rarely use the individual sub forums as such directly, unless I'm making a thread, in which case I will go into the sub forum and post it in the place I see fit. However most of the time when I'm at GMC, I will relentlessly press "view new posts" in the upper right hand corner to see what's newest. I really like this feature, but I'm not sure if others use it too?

To be honest I have direct links to for example Gab's mentoring thread.
But I check new post every like 4-5 days.

Thanks for the reply smile.gif I see! I think there could be enough going on for people to check new posts often enough. Of course it's not as 8 years ago, but still if we work together we can create more activity smile.gif

Bold icons? That's made me curious! I have orange "dots" on posts I haven't seen, I think, but nothing tells me on the "main page" of the forum if I've seen a post in there or not.

I usually look for NEW POSTS at least once a day. Most times twice a day as I try to monitor my own forums like quick licks and such, but I still sometimes miss a post!

For me I think it's an easy overview with the "view new posts" button, I can clearly see which posts I've seen or replied to and which I haven't, and I don't have to worry about missing a subforum if someone made a post deep inside the older archives smile.gif

On the main forum page the icon to the left of each forum (pencil on paper) is faded if no posts have been made since your last visit then inside that forum where it shows the list of topics, the folder to the left of topic title is faded if no new replies and bold of there are new replies.

I meant "not faded" tongue.gif biggrin.gif So when there are new posts, the icon is not faded, so it is bold in comparison wink.gif

Ye I used to be here around that time, one of the main reasons I don't interact more often, well a lot of people I knew aren't here anymore. and kind bad at starting interactions biggrin.gif

Sometimes I read a really kwl post and feel like answering or giving input, but I end up erasing what I wrote and not saying anything.
Plus my interface been deaded for ages...that's why you don't really see me in collabs. unsure.gif

No worries! I didn't mean to blame you at all if it felt like that. You shouldn't erase anything though, your input is very valuable from what I remember smile.gif
