Ive been tapping out some Four Seasons all morning Gilbert style and i have to say it gives me alot of pleasure to play this old stuff biggrin.gif

My question is, how many other GMC'ers play classical greats? I really feel i learn alot from them smile.gif

mysql> SELECT * FROM master_name WHERE ((firstname = 'Paul') AND (lastname = 'Gilbert'));

"The Fundimental Difference between Paul Gilbert and Buckethead is that Paul Explores the Good side of the force, while Buckethead Explores the Dark Side of the Force" :)

Classical pieces are the classics,as the name says. rolleyes.gif
Great stuff to play with drive on electric for sure.
The trick is that we must use our own stuff to make a lesson,
otherwise GMC'd be full of this kind of pieces!! smile.gif

The group Sky (featured John Williams if I recall right) made several albums back in the late 70s of classical pieces recorded on electric guitar and so on. Think they had a big UK hit with Vivaldi's Toccata and Fugue. Could be a good source for anyone who is interested in this sort of thing...

I know a few Vivaldi pieces, and some Niccolo Paganini, i learned the 24 caprices from an old guitar world magazine.
