In this Quick Licks, we run a lick up the neck. Keep it clean and lightly palm mute the whole thing to reduce string noise. This one also makes use of repeated notes. It's a great way to run a scale. Once you get used to this, it can work on any scale/mode. I"m just using a Minor shape because I love the Minor scale smile.gif This one is in A Minor so try it with any A Minor backing on youtube to play it with music. Makes a great drill as well. There is a little slide at the very end which a skill worth working on.Dealers choice on picking here. I"m doing some Alternate Picking, but if you want to "Strike Once Hammer Many" that's fine too. However it works best for you is perfectly ok. It's mostly about doing the run up the neck and the final slide. Stick the landing and BAM!

BACKGROUND / COMMENTS: Lots of speed with just a bit of practice on this one! Give it a go!

Hit me up with any questions!

This one may seem hard but once you play through it, it's actually really simple. Give it a whirl!

Nice! That saucy bend at the end was quite spiff as well! This is a Looooong scale run and one of the most difficult of all of them. You ran through it with grace and style. Very well played. I hope you put this to good use in a solo or collab, I'd love to see it! In other words you just...
LEVELED UP!!
