In this Quick Lick, we go full tilt and do a drill that will get your fingers moving in a brisk fashion. There is no speed requirement here. You can play it as slow as you like. Just keep practicing it, you will eventually be able to play it with precision just as I do in the first example. You can use your first three fingers as we are past the 12th fret. You can use your pinky if you like. To wit!

I was impressed at the traction this one seemed to get on facebook in one of the guitar player groups. I think I'm going to share the others there as well. Maybe it will create some reverse traction back to GMC!! Nearly 20 shares, wads of engagement, etc.

Now this is some seriously impressive work. This is shredding with one hand. Some folks can't shred with both hands. You are having no trouble ripping through this at full til. This one way of running a drill is at the core of nearly every shred lick you can think of. Getting a level of mastery over this type of drill is crucial imho. You can take this pattern and apply it to every scale you can think of. Major, Minor, phrygian etc. Give it a whirl!!! As for this, you ACED It!!!!
You just...

Congrats!!! I can see why you saved this for later. All of these left hand licks have prepped you for this. This is a DARN HARD LICK no matter how you slice it or whos playing. Doing a full board run with no pick would throw off just about any player. You have good pinky control, good timing, good muting, etc. It's all there!!! The only think lacking is a bit of speed and that just comes with time. You have solid technique which is WAAAAAAAAY more important than speed. Without solid technique, speed is just SLOP. Well played. You just...

LEVLELED UP!!!!! Still our top dawg but Matt is Not far Behind!!
