If you can get your hands on one, the now ancient UNIVERSE guitars built around 1990 are just amazing instruments. I've always wanted one and have yet to find the right one. The neck profile is shockingly thin for a 7 string guitar. It's a 19 mm neck profile which is crazy thin for a 7 string. My ibby 7620 is thin necked for a 7 but it's not that thin. The only guitar with a thinner profile I've ever played is my rg560 with an original 18mm wizard profile which is the thinnest neck they ever made. These NOT FOR EVERYONE. Some people HATE THIN NECKS. This guitar is not for this people. If you like a thin neck, and you want to play a 7 string, this is about as good as it gets imho. OLA agrees and here he is gushing over a recently found white Universe 7.

QUESTION: ANYONE TRIED ONE OF THESE?
