I LOVE the little HOTONE HARMONY stomp pedal. It's an octaver, harmonizer, and works as flange and chorus. Does a lot for one little pedal. I've made several vids about it. Well, today it just died. Had to pull it off my board. It's been a trooper for years and then bam.

QUESTION: Have you guys had your fave pedal just fail you and go dead without warning?

Yes. It sucks.
Does it pass signal when bypassed?

Nope. I have had one pedal my entire (guitar) life, which is of course the Boss TU-2 biggrin.gif Never fails me, though it is slower than it used to (or at least I imagine so).

This year, I sold almost every pedal I owned to finance Helix LT. Gonna have a big problem on my hand if that unit fails me , especially during a show .

Yeah, if you don't have a backup unit of any kind, and your main unit fails during a show, it's a problem. The good news is that you can get a cheap multii fx stomp unit for somewhere between about 100-200 USD. It won't be a helix, and you may have to get a used unit, and it won't sound exactly the same, but just having some kind of backup unit will come in really handy if your primary unit fails ya.
