Verse: Attached File  Backing_2___110_bpm.mp3 ( 1.25MB ) Number of downloads: 34

Chorus: Attached File  Backing_3___110_bpm.mp3 ( 869.31K ) Number of downloads: 38

Full track: Attached File  Full_Backing___110_bpm.mp3 ( 2.44MB ) Number of downloads: 40

This was a backing that CAEL and I were going to trade solos over. I'm very glad to see it having a new life on GMC! It's a killer backing and gabe has done a great job with it! Count me in smile.gif

Haven't even heard it yet, but I'm in! I'll probably have something in tonight or tomorrow. Helix 3.0 came out and I'm EXTRA SAUCED to use those new features on anything I can record! Good to see y'all again!

I figured it would be cool to have some vocals as well, so I recorded some ideas:

Attached File  your_backing_k_vox.mp3 ( 1.1MB ) Number of downloads: 35

I blame you for every encounter
I blame you for every soul
I love what I know about her
But I know that I can’t go on

When reason clashes
With our demands
The righteous calling
And the chilling hands

You live your life and you take the bait
You fall behind and procrastinate

Awesome you like the idea.

Can’t wait to hear what other contributions we get.

And btw if some one wants to add more ‘metalish’ vocal overdubs we might be able to blend them in with mine

Vocals are a great idea! Maybe BEN can do some metal style vocals/growls to go with it?

Early days but here is an idea to enhance the intro, it's only subtle. Is it okay ?

I got a chance to sit down jam on this for about half an hour, fun track! Here's a few licks I'm feeling out for this one.

Awesome!! Cool tone! Your phrasing makes me think on Marty Friedman here. Great great stuff.

Thanks Gab,

In what way is it "interesting"?, I just did what I thought sounded good to me but it would be nice to know what you found interesting about it in musical terms wink.gif

The tone is straight out of TH-U Elusive Atmospheres bank and the patch is called Welcome In Heaven God-Like

I find interesting the notes that you are playing, how this notes interact with the arpeggios that I've recorded, and the tone that you chose for your take. It adds a different vibes to the part. I can imagine that this could be the arrangement for this part the second time that it appears in the song.
