Malmsteen Made Easy, Lesson By Ben Higgins |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate!
I've been following and commenting your progress on this lesson at the mentoring thread so you already know my thoughts. The last thing that I've commented is the cleanness of your sweep picking technique and that's much better here! You did a killer job! There is still work to do in order to make those sweeps and also the pedal note licks smoother and tighter, but you are very very close my friend. And let me say that your vibrato is much better here, it sounds more Malmsteenish! Congrats on your recent hard work at GMC. Happy new year!! -------------------- My lessons
