laugh.gif Great question - I would say Timothy Taylor Landlord, or Adnams Broadside. I'm currently living in the USAso I can't get either of those here, and I miss them a lot!

Failing those two, any decent Cask Conditioned English Aleserved at cellar temperature would float my boat. Some good beers over here, but even the microbreweries are a different style to the English beers, and are served too cold sad.gif

Looking forward to sharing a brew with you smile.gif

Reminds me of a story Andrew when I worked in a pub.

Couple of tourists came in and asked to sample the beer. They drank 5 pints of Theakston's OP each in pretty quick succession. One of them then said 'Your English beer is so weak!' and slid off his chair to lie drunk, passed out on the floor.

Cheers (hic),
Tony

Mine is quite simple, it's Heineken. It tastes good but often when I drink it I remember the goot time I had when I enjoyed that beer in Amsterdam.
Me and a good friend spent a weekend there after a week of work at site. We decided to look up the famous dutch red light district. To make a long story short, there were summer and hot air, cool Heineken, soccer pubs, cool Heineken, Hells Angels, prostitues on display in windows, a constant sweet smell in the air, cool Heineken, happy people, men dress all in leather with leader caps making out, cool Heineken, ordering beer in a bar that was laced with something and planing our escape as we both felt it struck our heads, cool Heineken, with a shamefaced look browsing the sexshops and being amazed of the donkey attributes for sale, cool Heineken and some more cool Heineken.
An action packed weekend with so many new impressions, and the memories is in the taste.

Then I can admit there are beer of more interesting flavors but Heineken is special to me.

oooo a beer discussion....a canucks dream biggrin.gif

I'm not a big beer drinker...or drinker in general but when I do toss back a few I'm inclined to have a Keiths or Keiths Lite. This beer is brewed in my home province of Nova Scotia and is an india pale ale. For the longest time you could only ever get it in NS but over the last few years it's been made more available...in Canada anyways.

As for other beer...I don"t really like much else but there are a few. I'd take a Guinness over all....except a Keiths of course. But I also do enjoy the occasional Stella Artoi or a Kilkenny but that's about it. Mostly I'm a vodka Cranberry girl. Kill my liver but save my kidneys...I figure one cancels out the other so I'm safe laugh.gif just kidding

Mmm - IPA, yes, but English style - but I'll try Keiths next time I am in NS smile.gif Stella is good with a curry or if you are too hot, and Guiness is wonderful in Dublin smile.gif

Not sure why my board attracted a beer discussion, but I LOVE it (and beer!)
