Singing Harmony

Singing harmonies can be tough - you need a good ear for pitching and relative intervals in the first place, good control of your pitch, and when performing good monitoring so you can hear what the other singer is doing. And above all, a lot of practice so you are familiar with what you are singing, both on your own, with just the other singer tas well as with the band in the context of the song. Example if I singing say over D then to sing a hamony i would sing F# which is the 3rd or A which is the 5th. I guess my problem is hearing the notes so I can sing them and having a lesson on this would be fantastic. Is there any ear training exercises for this? There's a lot of exercises for ear training!... and there's programs for your pc too, like "ear master" for training you ear. This works without you voice, you have to recognize intervals or scales for examples. this helps a lot when you have to reproduce the sound with your voice.
