The artist formally known as Cat Stevens. Actually I heard an hour long interview of him on NPR, just a regular guy, very likable. I think he made headlines for getting pulled off a plane as a terrorist suspect (by error).

He was an art student, did his own album covers, so he gets points for that.

choice #2. Beatles always were doing things nobody had ever done before, that is what made them the Beatles

My favorite from a Moby Dick concept album: Mastodon - Leviathan

Really like that one as well. Had it as my desktop background for a couple of months. I also really like the last 2 albums of Tool... ofcourse their booklets are even better:

The best artwork is one where it is instant that you know what the album is so Nirvana - Nevermind. Plus Nirvana are my favourite band tongue.gif

As a few already mentioned, Blackwater Park:

Nattens Madrigal is also really awesome:

And I also ahve to mention Dance of December Souls since it's.. ok, it's the ugliest record cover ever.

Here are just a few. The last one is Therion's DVD box set but it's just too awesome not to add.

Another sweet album cover is Iced Earth's Framing Armageddon smile.gif Intense stuff

And I'd have to agree with Uncreator as well on the Maiden covers, the new Somewhere Back In Time Tour thing is sweet to biggrin.gif
