It's silly to have to make this kind of distinction imho. A guitar player is a player regardless of gender concepts. However, it's a field that has really lagged behind in many ways in terms of gender parity. There are a host of social issues that cause something like this and these same issues impact other things like how few female movie directors actually get work and win big awards. we have a pretty even split on planet earth between men and women, so one would think that most fields of endeavor would be split down the middle. This is still not the case. Until we reach better parity, I do think it's important to raise awareness that there are amazing players who just happen to be female.

She's impressive for sure. She's evidently working quite a bit so as ken says probably not much time for social media. I hope she does make more time for it though. Would be interesting to follow her through her day and see what it's like for her playing on a big show. Super thanks for the vids!
