Sorry Maria, I totally missed the mp3 - not only did you get my name right, but that was some awesome singing! (You are a better singer than Kris but don't tell him I said that )

Totally Cool!

Thank you Andrew! I am glad you liked it! smile.gif

Marcus Lavendell, David, Andrew Cockburn
Gabriel Leopardi, Pavel, Kristofer Dahl

chorus
Are you Ready
Ready to Roll
Are you Ready
to Get out of Control

Here is my attempt to sing... smile.gif

verse 1
Are you ready to Rock, Are you ready to Roll
Then grab your guitar, And get out of control

chorus
Are you Ready
Ready to Roll
Are you Ready
to Get out of Control

verse 2
From Zero to Hero, Healty to Insane
So if you're ready to rock, then get in the game

(Repeat Chorus)

Haha... Fantastic Kris! biggrin.gif Can you send me the vocal file, not mixed with the backing track? smile.gif

I love the scream at 01:04! Just perfect! biggrin.gif

I think the lyrics works great as well, so If no one else comes up with something even better I say we go for these lyrics!

Can you also send me the vocal file without the backing track?

Great job Maria!! smile.gif

biggrin.gif Glad you liked it - I was a little nervous about what you would say! biggrin.gif

Can we give give you the vocals as one dry stereo file - or do you need all the backing vocals etc on different mono tracks?

Marcus,

I've added a couple of things here. I used a Heil Talk Box, or as my wife would say "the spit tube" and put a phrase "Are you ready to rock" right where the crowd is. I like the crowd! smile.gif I added a lead at 3:00. I'm not quite sure where a lead should go or how long it should be so let me know. (or if I should play one a t all) I messed up a little so please get rid of it of you don't like it or let me know if I can re-do it. (I probably should laugh.gif )

I also added some more talk box stuff at the end as maybe a fade out or something like that. If you want it, great, if not it's no sweat to me. I've got some other ideas for the lyrics too so I'll put that up shortly.

Jeff

Jeff, this is so cool! I definitely think the talk box should be in the song!! smile.gif and the solo is awesome!
I'll add it to the song as soon as I get to my studio.

Great job!!

I prefer to have them on different mono tracks, if it's not too much trouble for you. I also want the files to be as dry as possible, so take away all effects, reverbs etc.

Absolutely - you should have them this evening (Sweden). We will definately remove all such effecfts - let us know if you want us to remove compressor settings as well!

Agreed with your comments regarding Jeff's files - really cool! This song looks like it's going to contain lots! biggrin.gif

Thanks Marcus! smile.gif I am curious about the drums on this track. They sound awesome. What do you use for them?

I just re-read your initial post. I'm sorry that I didn't use the PODxt file for my lead!. I mic'd it. I'll do it over using the POD tonight and you can get the same sound that you requested and you can edit it as you wish. Sorry man!!! sad.gif

Ok so here are the individual vocal tracks compressed into rar files.

They are all the same length and start from the exact beginning so they should be easy to match! smile.gif
