Hey Kris. I had a question about holding the pick. I watched your one on one lesson on speedpicking and I saw that you angle your pick downwards. I angle my pick but I angle it upwards at 45 degrees ( the edge of the pick is facing me ). I just want to know if this is a terrible habit that will end up messing me up or if it's OK.Thanks

No I don't think so - it's always difficult with picking as everyone has their own way of doing it. I believe Marty Friedman holds his pick the same way you describe it.

As long as you stick to the general rules of the lessons - then make sure to do what feels comfortable for you...! smile.gif
