Hey!

I'm new to GMC and i really love the site. I started out with the 6-step beginner lessons and since I already new the most of it (doesn't mean master it) I want to know where to go next. What I want to learn is som basic rock or metal riffs. I've searched through the lessons and I didn't find anything I felt was easy enough for me. I would really appreciate some links/tips to some good novice lessons.

Thanks in advance!

Hey dude
I dont know exactly your level of playing but here is a few you should be able to move onto and with practice learn. The first lesson is just a small lead riff on bending but i think is very good at improving your playing along with lead,Its broke down into several video's so you can take it one at a time just dont give up on it.

This next one is called stoner rock.It isnt to hard dont let the sound intemidate you.Just like the other one take it one video at a time and practice it over and over again. It will really help you move up to the next level.
Good luck and if you have any questions just ask smile.gif

Xaedon: in order to learn you have to learn things that are not easy. But to make it better - i am uploading a new lesson right now, a metal riffing and i made it especially for beginner/intermediate so i hope you find it useful! smile.gif

This is the same advice I give to everyone who ask the same question as you:

Kris' one-on-one lessons on the pentatonic scale smile.gif

Also I think Gabriel have some good lessons on rock riffs and stuff smile.gif
