Hi Gabriel smile.gif
I was wondering if i could ask you a little about your setup. Do you use any specific pedals (e.g Overdrives) when you record your lessons? I have ordered an Epiphone Valve standard vintage style amp and would like to acheive a similair tone to yours if possible! smile.gif

thanks

Hi Matt! How are you? The setup for my lessons is very simple. I use my Gibson les paul studio conected directly to my Marshal valvestate mod.8080 amp. I don't use any pedal for my lessons. I use some pedals live and another amp that is great! It's an argentinian amp constructed exactly equal to the messa boggie amps. It rocks. smile.gif
I change the parameters in every lessons but this could be the most used: Gain 7 - Bass 8 - Mid 6 - Treble 6 - Contour 3 -

I record the guitar with a shure sm 57 mic conected to a behringer ultragain pre amplifier.

That's basically the set. wink.gif

Hi again Gabriel!
I am well thankyou - lots of fishing going on in my life biggrin.gif Thankyou for the information on your setup, i will try those settings also on my new amp. I have ordered an Ibanez Tube screamer for overdrive, and so maybe i can get a similair tone! smile.gif

yes, that pedal has a nice overdrive for rock and blues. If you combine it with you new amp you'll get a rocker sound! What guitar do you have?
