I did the performance today and it was pretty good i wasn't really that nervous which was strange. I made alot of mistakes laugh.gif but i don't think anyone really noticed. But i think alot of people didn't like it because after school one of my friends said "why would you listen to music with out lyrics" then my other friend said "yeh its kinda boring" i thought every one loved guitar solos huh.gif. but even with that said alot of the teachers liked it and my other guitar buddies though it was awesome smile.gif .

Awesome! We all make mistakes, noone really notice it in the audience, unless perhaps they are experienced with music.

I remember an early peromance of mine, I had two bands. It was this school competition.
One of my bands played Iron Maiden cover songs and my other band, the one I'm with today, played our own songs without a vocalist.

After the concert people told us "you guys are a shame for Iron Maiden" hahahaha, but my other band won the whole thing and got to eat as much pizza we wanted at Dolly Dimples(Pizza) biggrin.gif
We made a mess out of the whole resturant biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

So if you do a battle of the bands just make sure you are the guitar player in all the bands and you're sure to win laugh.gif . You'll be really knackered by the end but well fed tongue.gif .

More seriously though as Robin says everyone makes mistakes and most/all the audience really won't notice so enjoy yourselves.

Cheers,
Tony
