John in 1 year youll laugh at how much youve improved and how far youve came . I like the rhythm in the background but I think you could have done more with it. Nothing wicked advanced but even some vibrato would have spiced up your playing, Keep at it ! smile.gif

Not a bad effort, i personally feel its a bit flat though and i would suggest adding some vibrato and bends, maybe some tapping licks and other techniques to liven it up! biggrin.gif

I think you must practice with metronome and of course record with it. Try to dowload some backing tracks or play over a drum loop or similar, and the try to feel the tempo the snare, the bass, and the tempo. Almost try to sing the ritmic patern and copy with in the guitar wink.gif
