Hello Natascha!

I know a word in your language, I don' t know how to spell it exactly and it's a really bad word so I will keep it to myself. At least now you know I know. Welcome! smile.gif

EDIT: And I'm pretty shure "Skyla lit" means something in Norwegian.

Robin will bring light to this matter, he's Norwegian but he says it means nothing. "Skyla" means "Cover" in Swedish, not so commonly used as a word here and I assumed it was more frequent in Norway. An example like - Don't wear such short shirts, you must cover your belly.
"Lit" I though meant "slightly" in Norwegian, guess I was wrong.

Sorry about the foreign language tongue.gif

Its "litt". Means "little", and as you said "slightly".

I guess we say it more like: "Ikke bruk så korte skjorter, du må skjule magen din."

Heh, sorry for taking over your thread with our language discussions Skyla_lit biggrin.gif tongue.gif

you should just learn whatever you think you can aspire to play (difficulty-wise) and something you think sounds good. I think i started off with the Kirk- hammet style lesson- and now i'm working on Pavel's hand control lesson and Muris' Alternate Picking lesson. If you need specific advice on where to go next- post the techniques you feel comfortable with and maybe we can help you choose.

Welcome to the GMC btw !
