They Don't have to be your Favorite guitarists.

But the 5 that you'd say Influenced you the Most

For me. In Order.

1. Eric Clapton (He was who got me Interested in playing Elec. guitar)
2. SRV (Big Influence on my Blues-Rock playing style)
3. Hendrix (nuff said)
4. Eric Johnson (Love his Clean soloing ohmy.gif )
5. Jimmy Page (He used to be my Second fave)

Who Influenced you the Most??

Gunnar, my dad. He taught me about chords and other guitar related things, he showed me artists like Hendrix, Winter, SRV, Creedence, Status Quo and maaaany others.

Stevie Ray Vaughan and Johnny Winter are the foundation of my electric guitarplaying style.

Eric Clapton. The first music I got interested in outside Iron Maiden.

Bjørn Berge. I've been practicing really hard on slide and fingerpicking blues lately becuase of him.

Steve Vai was actually the one that influenced me to play Electric Guitar, and after i saw the G3 with Satriani and Malmsteen, after that they were my guitar hero's too, and afther listening to Satriani, his guitar playing speaked more to me .. and the one that influence me the most is since then is Joe Satriani.

These 'Are' my influcences. Some were why I started playing but they all are why I still do (no particular order BTW):

1. Muris and Gabriel ( Gabriels lessons made me want to join when I first looked at GMC. His style of play was simular to what I noticed mine becoming and since Muris has joined I've found the wonderful world of finger picking smile.gif Both keep me motivated to learn and practice harder.)

2. Tom Morello ( His innovative techniques and approach to guitar intrigue me. I'm blown away everytime I hear him. He's the reason I finally picked up a guitar and started to learn.)

3. Jimmy Page ( I really enjoy the blues/rock stylings in his guitar playing. This is something I try to achieve every time I pick up my LP)

4. Slash ( basically the same reason as Mr. Page)

5. Dave Matthews (When I look at my acoustic....I hear Dave Matthews.)
