Kris, i'm not sure whether you've already seen this or whether or not it is any kind of threat, but i thought you should take a look at it if you havn't.

www.bugmenot.com/view/www.guitarmasterclass.net

It gives out passwords and usernames; i found it after googling "guitarmasterclass".

Might be worth pm'ing Kris or Henrik as well Deeproots just in case they don't notice this.

Cheers,
Tony

I'd imagine that there is more then this single hack password/backdoor site though...

Thanks for notifying!

Fortunately these aren't real usernames - it appears to be a trick to make people sign up to their site... mellow.gif

edited - added "their site"

Not really a hacking site, I use it to get by compulsory registration for sites that are not paid, sometimes Its good not to have to give out your details every time you want something.

No-one on the site wants to submit their paid account details though, so no doubt there will never be a GMC one, theres more paranoia involved with "giving away" a paid account.

Its not a spoof site or spyware or anything, I can confirm, many people just submit bad info to it tho.

More material than we would like is starting to spread on the web from GMC - this is very alarming for the future and we spend a lot of time and energy thinking about how to confront this increasing problem.

However I agree that people aren't very likely to leave their login informations (paypal email address) openly for everyone to see...

If you want to ensure GMC doesn't come up on their site then you just have to follow the steps here
http://www.bugmenot.com/report.php
Basically you put in the link, then upload a file to your webserver so the site can see it is actually your site and it should block it.
