Wouldn't worry Hemlock - mine had lots of passing tones and neighbours and so wasn't really 'in' key.

Just nod your head and rub your chin and mumble something about 'playing outside' if anyone says anything - as long as you look like you know what you mean most people will believe you smile.gif . Well it sometimes works for me biggrin.gif .

Cheers,
Tony

biggrin.gif thanks Tony I will have to try that, the only audience i play to is a cat and on occasion a dog. They don't complain too much, unless they are hungry. But I believe in myself and that is the main thing, I know that was out of key but I like it haha I feel it was a big improvement from the last time I tried to record a solo tongue.gif smile.gif

Mine is coming soon!

I'm having a bit of trouble, it all feels so minimal to me there doesnt seem much to my ears other than a drumbeat at some points, never the less, I shall prevail! laugh.gif

Edit: Here we go, I managed to make A Aeolian dull;

Here's mine.

Attached File  muriscollabbt.mp3 ( 633.54K ) Number of downloads: 147

I had some trouble saving the no backing track version and for some reason now the file it fine except cut off in the last 10 or so seconds, so I need to re record it tomorow. But here it is for critiquing purposes. I kind of split it up to three sections. And I didn't know what to do with the ending. So I'll do something with that tomorrow, this is placeholder tongue.gif

I was going to record mine tonight but I'm running into some issues with my amp.

--------------------
Guitars - Schecter C1-FR Hellraiser Black Cherry
Ibanez Iceman w/ DiMarzio Super Distortion in the Bridge and DiMarzio Humbucker from Hell in the Neck
Xaviere XV-700 Cherry Sunburst (Les Paul copy)
Lyon Def Leppard Special Union Jack (to go under construction soon - 1st thing to be removed will be the Def Lep logo on the headstock and then off to change the pickups etc. - plays pretty well for a Target special)
Washburn KC-40 (in pieces and about to be re-painted)
Yamaha Classical Acoustic

Bass - Signed Gene Simmons Punisher Tobacco Sunburst #345 - Collector purposes only

Amp - Roland Cube 60, Roland MicroCube

Effects - Ibanez Weeping Demon Wah

I've got some ideas down but recording is a temporary issue right now. It may be a couple of weeks on mine. If that's too long I'll step out. If not I'll get it done as soon as I can.

Here's mine. If you need it mixed with the BT again muris, let me know. Otherwise it starts the same as before. I still haven't quite figured out what to do with it, so I'm a bit unsatisfied, but thats where you guys come in and help me out tongue.gif

By the way I think I was using a modified version of lavendell's tone in the other upload, so this one has a different tone.

Hi Muris, and thank you for the opportunity.
My mommy is really impressed!!! smile.gif
Once again, I know the timing sucks (and not just that, btw), but metronome practicing will surely help me...
Your mixolydian lesson was of great help here, and you were right, this mode sounds really cool!
Thank you, and comments, critics and advices are more than welcome from anyone,
but please keep in mind (sorry Muris, I told you this again and again, but I'm saying this for whoever will listen) that I started 3 months ago!
