Hey, just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Paul and I'm living in Dubai at the moment smile.gif
I'm from Scotland and I've been playing guitar for 7 years now, and I've finished IB HL Music and graduated biggrin.gif
I play in a punk band, a ska band, and a classic rock act that plays at cafes and other venues.
I really am glad to be part of this website now, as it seems I'll definetly learn a lot from all of you biggrin.gif
I plan to study in Humber College in Toronto next summer, so I gotta get my theory and chops up biggrin.gif
Cheers, guys
Paul

Thanks a lot guys, I've been lookin at this site for months and am shocked by its progress, really am impressed. For sure, this is hotter than Dubai, and that's saying something.
Andrew, I really loved your theory lessons, as they've clarified some misty things I learned during the IB program. Thanks, I'd really like to have a chat with you about how I can start implementing theory into my songwriting. biggrin.gif
Also, I am HEAVILY into Audio Engineering, been doing it for maybe 2 years now, I love writing Trance etc, with Reason (www.purevolume.com/paulcoutts) and MIDI keyboards.
I am now looking at the PODx3 to get a better tone whilst recording guitar. This is something I really am investing a lot of money and time into, so getting tips etc, from everyone will be VERY highly appreciated.
I'm working as a KG1 and KG2 teacher in my school to pay for this biggrin.gif
Anyways, enough with the life story biggrin.gif Just finally feel like I have personal lessons, with not one, but many teachers and people to give me valuable advice biggrin.gif
Cheers
