i was wondering how these collaberation thingies work... i'd like to take part in one but is it just for experienced users or what?
if not then how does it all work? does one person make a backing track with rythm guitars etc then the others just solo over it?

maybe a simple tutorial/explenation stickied to the top of the collaberation forum for all us newbies might help? tongue.gif

cheers for readin
Chris

The only real requirement is that the collaboration leader has to provide a backing track and know enough about mixing/recording to put it all together ...

In fact even the backing track isn't necessarily set in stone - in Marcus collaboration he interactively wrote a song with members smile.gif

If you wanna make BT without recording audio ,Reason is great tool for you.
Still, you'll need audio sequencer to mix it all together(thinking of collab's takes)
but Reaper is more than enough for that. smile.gif
