Saw Van Halen with David Lee Roth. They pulled out all the stops. Roth sounded great and seemed to get along with the band. Eddie was awesome and loud. Man the show was loud. There were a couple songs where they weren't in sync but whatever. They played 26 songs including 2 for the encore, 1984 and Jump. I thought Wolfgang did a great job, he was moving around and conversing with his old man. It was really cool to see that. All in all it was a great show. The stacks of 5150 III amps sounded good to me as well.

Setlist:

01. You Really Got Me
02. I'm the One
03. Runnin' With the Devil
04. Romeo Delight
05. Somebody Get Me a Doctor
06. Beautiful Girls
07. Dance the Night Away
08. Atomic Punk
09. Everybody Wants Some
10. So This Is Love?
11. Mean Street
12. Pretty Woman
13. Drum Solo
14. Unchained
15. I'll Wait
16. And the Cradle Will Rock
17. Hot for Teacher
18. Little Dreamer
19. Little Guitars
20. Jamie's Cryin'
21. Ice Cream Man
22. Panama
23. Guitar Solo (incl. "Women in Love" intro, "Cathedral", "Eruption")
24. Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love
------------------------
25. 1984
26. Jump

Going to see them Dec 5 in Vancouver; I was only 12 when Diamond Dave left the band, so I've been waiting a very LONG time for this. Can hardly wait!

Thanks for the set list. I am going to KC this Friday to check out the show, which is where I saw them last in 84. I will make sure to have all of those songs on my ipod for the drive up.

Anyone else going to that show?

Let me just bump this up with a few words about the Van Halen Concert/Show I attended.
The whole thing was flawless. I did have a few imports in me so if they messed up I might have missed it. We had a rock and roll party at this event before, during and after. It was like the old days except all these old people were there. ;-). It was so funny seeing people my age acting like we had been in a cave waiting to come out for this show.

When Wolfgang went up top of the stage, held his bass straight up and down, kind of over his head at the beginning of Running with the Devil and then his Dad, ( I think his name is Eddie) started wailing I almost lost it.

They rescheduled the postponed St Louis show for March. Guess who is going to be in the Gateway to the west. On Top Of The World Oh Yeah! Eww La La!

I saw them too. I missed Michael Anthony but Wolfgang was alright. I saw them on 12/14 and i'm still pumped. The setlist was similar. It was amazing to watch Eddie do his magic.

You will enjoy the show and Roth is fine. He does not jump around as much as he used to but neither do I. His singing the night I saw him was suprisingly perfect.
