For now it's H-S-H, but as soon as my RC7 arrives it will be H-H, and i bet it will be better because nothing will be under the strings where the single-coil usually is. Single-Coil is a really weak pickup so you have to rise it almost to the strings to get the volume equal to humbuckers, so when you play, you actually hit the pickup with the pick and that's what drives me crazy, so i just lowered it as much as i could - i don't use it anyway.

exactly my problem... The plastic shell of the singlecoil is already carved in a bit mad.gif

Guitars: Ibanez RG 2550, Squier Showmaster Jimmy Shine Signature

Amps: Marshall G30R CD Combo, Marshall MG100HDFX Halfstack

Pedals: Digitech DF-7, Boss RC-2, Dunlop Cry Baby

Wishlist: Brunetti XL R-Evo II or Brunetti Mercury EL34 and a Fabian Schulz Signaturemodel by Ibanez :D

My Ibanez is HSH and I really like the versatility of that set up , my Carvin is HH and I don't miss the single coil sound when I play it. HH for me as I don't use the single coil unless playing clean.
