I have made this "quick and dirty" Video to show how easy it is to change key useing only one Pentatonic box.
Not a lesson, just an example of how to move Boxes so beginners can improvise in any key. I start from Am and move up a semi tone untill i reach Em. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVRma_y020I You can of course move up or down, and use all 5 of the boxes not just one which is what i usually do. thanks. -------------------- mysql> SELECT * FROM master_name WHERE ((firstname = 'Paul') AND (lastname = 'Gilbert'));
"The Fundimental Difference between Paul Gilbert and Buckethead is that Paul Explores the Good side of the force, while Buckethead Explores the Dark Side of the Force" :) |

Hi Iluha, That is not problem You would be supprised how many very new players dont figure out this simple "trick" for quite a long time!! Sometimes just a little demo helps to kickstart ideas Agreed - a lot of people are surprised that you can make a new scale just by sliding up a fret - Matt demonstrated that neatly I thought. -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile
