It's because we have to many people who think rap is music! That and I think we have to have played a guitar to truly appreciate Gilbert to the maximum! But I still think that today's society is wrecking the musical industry. Long Live Classic Rock! laugh.gif

And apparently he really digs all things japanese.

He only uses japanese guitars

He can speak japanese

with mr. big he had 3 albums with the title "raw like sushi"

and he's married to a japanese woman.

looks like me and mr. gilbert have similar interests, lol

Hopefully one day I will be able to get up on stage and play with such confidence like him.

there's been so many Paul Gilbert discussions, but this is the first one I'm replying to so I just want to say he is one of my biggest inspirations in music.

As Japan has a higher concentration of shred lovers than anywhere else in the world, you can't really blame them... cool.gif What I really like about PG is his tone, I find it awesome...
On a sidenote, I'd say this topic is in the wrong forum... wink.gif

I was gonna post it there, but I'm so use to starting threads in the off-topic section. Like many civil war re-enactors, I fear change.
