Truely BUT!!! in the world of today i would not classify the little distortion used my maiden as "Metal" I would. Heavy Metal even. Rather that forcing Iron Maiden and lots and lots of other bands to shift genre since music develop it's Children of Bodom and Arch Enemy who qualify for a different metal genre. A genre that have evoluted from Heavy metal. EDIT: And we also have Yngwie Malmsteen on Fender. This post has been edited by MickeM: Nov 2 2007, 08:07 PM -------------------- My bands homepage
All time favourites: B. Streisand - Woman in Love, M. Hopkin - Those were the days, L. Richie - Hello |

Just my 2 cents but their are LOTS of metal players playing Fenders. All fenders though Telecasters are almost non-existent among Metal Heads.

Hey there Hardtail - welcome back! Where have you been? Practicing I hope! Unfortunately no. I was studying A LOT for my Professional Engineering Exam which I took 2 weeks ago... While I was studying for it my boss fired me because he couldn't afford to keep me on staff any more. So 2 weeks before the biggest exam of my life I become unemployed. No time for guitar sadly. Glad to see you - where did you go? I was missing your in depth comments on my amp blog! See above... Anyway, I am STILL looking for a job... it's been 4 weeks now and I'm getting worried. It looks like wherever I get a job I will probably have to move so that will be more craziness. I may not be back to the guitar and GMC for another several weeks still. Just popping in here when I have time. Keep up the good work guys!
