I don't have any tatooes and I'm going to keep it that way. Soon being in minority since everyone it's getting one I think being unmarked will stand for something, when I was young(er) having a tatoo was rare and kept within certain goups in society.
The oddest tatoo I saw was a guy who had burned a womans name on his entire lower arm, an all home made tatoo. So messy it was completely unreadable even if you knew what it read... What a piece of work he was. -------------------- My bands homepage

Just kidding Hemlock. I would not get one, but so many people do, things are different today, that was then, this is now. http://hemlok.justgotowned.com/ <--- Don't know if anyone finds this useful but just change 'hemlok' to 'insert name here' and hey presto! -------------------- |

Nice tattoos guys - designs and colours.
I have none - just never appealed to me tbh although I have a number of friends who are in to body art - whether tattoos, piercing or branding - in a big way. IMO tattoos look great when they're well done but I do cringe when I see the home made one that went wrong. A bit off topic but two stories about tattoos: 1) When I was at high school one lad went to a back street tattooist to have his done as he was underage. He came back to school and was real keen to show us it. The earliest opportunity was when we got changed for football (soccer). Now he was an LFC fan and wanted to show this - half the school were LFC and the other, cleverer ( ) half were Everton fans. Anyway we all circled round him in the changing rooms and he took of his shirt. He turned round to show off the tattoo and there printed on his back was the LFC crest, the names of the players and the slogan: 'Liverpoo FC YNWA' (verbatim). 2) I used to go to a lot of new wave and punk gigs back in the late 70s. At one a group of NF (extreme right wing) skinheads were being a pain in the bum to quite a few people. One siddled up to me and started mouthing off and maybe a bit stupidly I told him where to take himself. Well he then pulled down his lower lip to display a rather poor tattoo of a Union Jack that was on his inside lower lip and gurgled (he still had hold of his lip) 'See this, me I'm hard.' (OK I'm guessing a bit as it came out more like 'Oooo Aaaa I'm a silly monkey.") Should have known better but of course I replied and said 'Flag's upside down you cretin. Can't you NF scum get anything right you brain dead ...' at which point he and his mates decided that I spend the night in the Liverpool Royal Infirmary ... Ah well, wasn't my first or last visit.
