Yes I am. I've tried it with an other amplifier.

I know what your talking about. I used to be perplexed by this as well. But i've realized that the attack changes with what pick your using, how you hold the pick, how the pick hit's the string. where on the guitar you hit the strings. what guitar/effects/setu you use.

It's a complicated issue. i've found that allot of it goes away if you relax your picking hand. that's my two cents at least.
