There's a Gibson Les Paul model, Studio or Standard o similar 490/498 equipped and not the BFG - Goddess - JR or Vixen, with two knobs only and I think the switch somewhere down by the knobs. Not sure about the switch though but for certain a LP.

Anyone know which model I'm talking about?

The bottom part, yes, but it's the single cut model shape.

The double cut has been around since about 1958 though so is arguably a traditional shape in its own right smile.gif . Best of both worlds is to have both a LP and a double cut biggrin.gif .

Cheers,
Tony

If someone wanted to give me that one I certainly wouldn't say no smile.gif . My daughter would love it as well...

A classic LP is wonderful Matt but a double cut is also great Matt. I'm blessed as I have an LP and my custom is based on a double cut. Both wonderful guitars.

Cheers,
Tony

Whoa! That looks neat, if there's an Epi model with flag inlays on the fretboard and either honeyborst or goldtop I have to concider I mistakingly have taken it for a Gibson.

Thanks for your effort Smells. And thanks to everyone else. smile.gif
