Ok, so I'm officially unofficially helping out a local band from Scotland here! Pirate Metal!! YARR!!??

I've told you guys about this band before (they were formerly called Battleheart) but they've since changed their name, got signed and will be releasing a debut album toward the end of January, they resemble bands like Korpiklaani and Turisas but with a pirate-y twist, heres the dates of release:

23.01.2008 Finland
25.01.2008 Germany / Austria / Switzerland / Sweden
28.01.2008 Europe
29.01.2008 USA / Canada

If you want to hear a sample of whats on it then have a clicky at my sig (or click here) and post back what you think.

Their myspace is here and they also have a forum on www.ultimatemetal.com, if you go there they're all on pretty regular and it'd be cool if you let them know where you found this.

Anyways, shameless promotion. laugh.gif

I remember them couple years back when they were still named Battleheart. Pretty cool stuff. Not really into folk metal though.
