Hey Guys and Girls

I'm a guitarist from the UK that has just joined. I was scanning around the site as I've been playing guitar 6 years now but I'm not great as I never get time to practice with my Engineering job. But I'm really wanting to improve so I joined up. I'm not bad but there is lots of room for improvement.

This is an awesome site and I found the Kris vids on Youtube and they were so funny and helpful and made me learn so I had to join up. All the other contributors are great also biggrin.gif

I have 3 guitars

Gibson SG
Parker Nitefly M
Caparison TAT2

and a JCM800 Marshall amp

I love all forms of guitar music but mainly metal, jazz, country and blues and I want to meet new guitarists also. I have a band in the UK and I just want to get to be as good as my influences. Jason Becker, Chuck Schuldiner, Townes Van Zandt and Kurt Cobain. Random mix I know biggrin.gif

So hey everyone and I hope I'm welcome here.

Paul Butcher

biggrin.gif It is always the way. I spend half the time trying to convince myself I don't need more guitars more still buy them anyway smile.gif

I will get some pics today and give a review on the gear board.

I played a Horus when I bought the TAT2 but the TAT2 blew it away in my opinion. I know it is an extra 400 quid but I love the TAT2. I will give a proper review later today though.

Thanks for the welcome and I'm sure I will be round here often to give any help and advice I have on things smile.gif

See ya around
