I am trying out Rifftracker from Sonoma Wire Works. Pretty nice software for $100. This is my first recording with the software. This short piece is in bminor so I have attached a bminor scale chart that I created in photoshop just in case someone might find it helpful.

Nice job, I like it!

How was using the software? I think I had looked at it *VERY* briefly, but never tried it. Was always curious though about how easy it was to use and whatnot.

Would it be suited for full recording? Or mainly riff capturing?

It is extremely easy to use. It is great for loop recording sections and then combining those sections to create a full song. There is a lite version that is free. It limits you on the layers per riff and it only allows you to save in its .RWS format. You should try it out. I am having fun with it.

Thanks for the comments. I am glad that it did not make anyones eardrums bleed.

I just noticed that Rifftracker is also known as Riffworks.
