I know Kris was once in a death metal band himself so it seems strange that we still have no lessons for the darker side of metal, there is a large contingency of people here who love bands like Opeth and various other death metal acts like Cannibal Corpse and Nile, I think it would be great to see some really surging lessons in this style! I personally think technical metal is very boring, but it will be a challenge to learn and I bet there are many people on GMC that wants these kind of lessons. To my knowledge none of the instructors so far have expressed any interest in this type of music, I was just wondering if perhaps Kris had recieved any interest from people wanting to do death metal type stuff, which, upon seeing the topic Smells linked too he obviously hasnt, which is a bit of a shame.
