^ First: congrats on your 500th post!!!!!

Second: Jimmy Page was the other one I was going to pick but I had to throw some respect out to my boy Tim Mahoney... And of course I'm going to appreciate a Tom Morello fan!!!

Third: Keith Moon was my other choice for drummer...

Your list rocks!!! biggrin.gif And so does everybody else's but yeah your list rocks hard...

Hey thanks man for everything. Morello is my god so I respect all fans of his stuff....plus it also makes you my new best friend smile.gif Jimmy is pretty much tied with Morello for me as my all time fave so that was an easy choice and well I had to do einy-meiny-miny-moe between John Bonham and Moon. Very hard to decide I must say but I'm happy with my choice. And well bass was another easy choice for me. I just love Zeppelin smile.gif
But I'm glad you liked the list. There are some great lists here.....it would be a dream to play with any of them to be honest.

Drums: George Kollias (Nile)
Keyboard: Janni Warman (Children Of Bodom)

George is a fair machine! Janne is awesome too.

My list (for a metal orientated gig) would be something along the lines of:

Lead Guitar - Alexi Laiho (COB)
Rhythm Guitar - Muhammed Suicmez (Necrophagist)
Bass - I'd say Billy Sheehan, but he'd probably wear scary tight leather pants, so I'll go with Stephan Fimmers (Also Necrophagist)
Drums - Hellhammer (Mayhem, Dimmu Borgir, + many others)
+ London Philharmonic Orchestra (just for some massive orchestral hits, and lush string parts haha)

Interesting idea, mine at the moment would be:

Lead - Allan Holdsworth

Rhythm - Muris (who could also do a great harmony lead)

Bass - Steve Swallow

Drums - Steve Gadd

Keyboards - Chic Corea.

Links for the latter three as I guess we all know the first two by now smile.gif . (And there are plenty of Holdsworth links posted if you aren't sure who he is smile.gif )

I think this would be a sick metal gig.

Vox: (Tool) Maynard James Keenan

Lead/Rhythm: (Solo; Rob Zombie; Ex-Marylin Manson) John 5 - Check out his solo stuff if you haven't heard it. ---> http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendID=65510933

Lead/Rhythm: (Firewind) Gus G.

Rhythm: (Tool) Adam Jones

Bass: (Dream Theater) John Myung

Drums: (Tool) Danny Carey

Keys: (Solo; Planet X; Ex-Dream Theater/Yngwie Malmsteen) Derek Sherinian

Couldn't pick between John 5 and Gus G. so I added both. biggrin.gif

EDIT: Spelling.

Sure why not. You can do whatever you want with it. I didn't make any rules, just pretty much made an example.
